Acceptance of terms

By accessing or using AceTheRound you agree to these Terms. If you are using the service on behalf of an organization, you confirm you have authority to bind that organization.

These interim Terms will be replaced by final legal-approved terms; continued use after updates constitutes acceptance.

Who we are

AceTheRound is a trading name of ATR Technologies LTD, a company established in the United Kingdom serving users worldwide.

Use of the service

• You must be at least 16 years old and comply with applicable laws.
• Do not share unlawful, infringing, or sensitive content, and do not misuse the service (no reverse engineering, unauthorized access, or service disruption).
• You are responsible for account credentials and all activity under your account.
• We use analytics and session replay tools (with consent where required) to monitor service performance, prevent abuse, and improve the user experience.

AI and OpenAI Voice usage

We use third-party AI providers, including OpenAI Voice, to process audio and text for interview simulations.

Audio may be transcribed and analyzed to deliver feedback. Do not submit confidential information in practice sessions.

We do not permit using the service to create unlawful or discriminatory content.

Content and licenses

You retain rights to your content. You grant AceTheRound a limited license to use it to operate, improve, and provide the service.

We may aggregate and de-identify data for analytics and performance improvements.

Payments and billing

Paid plans renew per the billing cycle shown at checkout unless canceled. Fees are non-refundable except where required by law or stated otherwise.

Some plans may be marketed as "unlimited interviews" and are still subject to a fair use policy. Under those plans, we initially grant a defined number of credits each billing period. If you reach that limit, you may request additional credits and we may grant manual top-ups for genuine interview preparation use. We may delay, limit, or deny top-ups where we reasonably suspect abuse, automated usage, sharing, resale, or other misuse.

We may suspend or terminate access for non-payment.

7-Day Money-Back Guarantee

If you are a first-time subscriber, you may request a full refund within 7 calendar days of your initial paid subscription start date by emailing hello@acetheround.com from the email address linked to your account.

This guarantee is available once per user/account and does not apply to users who have previously held a paid subscription.

For plans described as “unlimited interviews,” usage is managed under our Fair Use Policy: we grant an initial monthly credit allocation and may provide additional top-up credits on request.

To qualify for a refund under this guarantee, you must have used less than 50% of your initial monthly credit allocation at the time of your request (excluding any discretionary top-up credits). If usage is 50% or more, the guarantee does not apply and the first month remains payable.

Where a valid claim is made, we will process the refund promptly.

This guarantee is in addition to, and does not limit, any mandatory rights you have under applicable consumer law.

Termination

You may stop using the service at any time. We may suspend or terminate access for breach of these Terms or legal requirements.

Upon termination, some provisions survive (including limitations of liability, disclaimers, and governing law).

Disclaimer

The service is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee interview outcomes or uninterrupted availability.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, AceTheRound and its affiliates will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenues, data, or business opportunities.

Our aggregate liability arising from or relating to the service is limited to the greater of: (a) the amount you paid in the 12 months before the claim, or (b) £100.

Indemnity

You agree to defend and indemnify AceTheRound against third-party claims arising from your breach of these Terms or misuse of the service.

Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. The courts of England and Wales will have exclusive jurisdiction, except where consumer law in your country provides otherwise.

Changes to the Terms

We may update these Terms. We will post changes here and update the effective date. Material changes may be communicated by email or in-app. Continued use after updates means you accept the revised Terms.
